Description
The Old Manor House is a house from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with ashlar quoins and a slate roof. It features two gable stacks and brick coped gables, along with scalloped wooden eaves. The building is set on a chamfered ashlar and brick plinth and has first and second floor bands. It has a T-plan layout, is two and a half storeys tall, and consists of three bays. The central doorway has a panelled door with an overlight, reveals, a pilastered surround, an entablature, and a cornice. On either side of the doorway are single narrow lights, and further to the right and left are single glazed double doors set under segmental arches. Above the doorway, there are three plain sash windows, with three smaller similar sashes on the top floor, all under segmental arches. Wansbeck House is not included in this listing.
