Description

The Laurels is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of red brick. It features a concrete tiled roof with brick coped and tumbled gables and has two gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central doorway is framed by a pilastered doorcase, which includes tall dosserets, an entablature, a cornice, and a partially glazed door. On either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, and above are three plain sash windows, with the one directly above the doorway being narrower. All the windows, except for the top one on the left, have segmental heads.
