Description

The Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three, topped with a pantile roof. The gables are brick coped, and there are two gable brick stacks, one of which was rebuilt in the 20th century. The building is single storey plus attics and features a three-bay front with a central door from the 20th century, flanked by two plain sash windows from the 19th century. All openings have segmental brick heads. The roof includes three segmental-headed dormers with casement windows, which have leaded cheeks and roofs.
