Pair of houses. c1810 with later alterations. Painted brick; gabled Welsh slate roof with brick coped gables, 2 courses of red tiles at ridge and brick end stack to rear of ridge. EXTERIOR: 2 storey, plat band over ground floor; top modillioned brick cornice. Entrance to each end has doorcase with fretted frieze and dentilled pediment, No.27 (left) with original architrave and 6-flush-panel door (2 panels glazed); No.29 has C20 panelled door in renewed architrave. Ground floor has 2 canted bay windows with cornices over C20 glazing; first floor has 4 windows with sills, and painted stucco wedge lintels over C20 small-paned casements, that to left in architrave. INTERIOR: not inspected.
