Description

Johnson's comprises a pair of houses located on the High Street in Henley-in-Arden. Dating from the mid to late 18th century, the building has undergone later alterations and additions. The houses are constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a gabled brindle tile roof and a brick end stack to the front ridge, and a further stack to the rear wing. The plan is three units: a single unit to the left and two units to the right.

The exterior is two storeys with a four-window range. A brick plat band runs above the ground floor, and an exposed wall plate is visible. The central entrance to No. 34 has a 20th-century half-glazed door set within a small-paned canted bay window. To the right end is an office entrance and another canted bay window, all sheltered by a pentice. The entrance to No. 32 features a pegged frame surrounding a plank door, and a small-paned canted bay window to the left, both under a hipped pentice. The first floor has windows with 20th-century two-light casements.

The interior remains uninspected.
