Description

This is a pair of houses, likely dating from the late 18th century, which have been combined into a single dwelling. The building has undergone alterations and additions in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with a gabled roof covered in old tiles. A large brick stack rises from the ridge towards the rear of the roof, and there is a projecting stack at one end.

The exterior is arranged with a three-unit plan. A plat band runs above the ground floor, and a top dentil brick cornice adds detail. A segmental-headed entrance is located to the right of the centre, featuring a stop-chamfered frame surrounding a 20th-century battened door. A 20th-century garage entrance is situated at the left end, and a doorway has been blocked at the right end. The ground floor has a segmental-headed window with a 3-light casement on the left side, and a canted bay window with a frieze and cornice to the right of the entrance. The first floor contains three windows – one is a 3-light casement and the other two are 2-light casements, all dating to the 20th century. The rear of the property includes a two-storey, flat-roofed wing. The interior has not been inspected.
