Description
This is a house located at 22 High Street in Henley-in-Arden, dating from around 1830. It is built of brick laid in Flemish bond, with stucco dressings and a gabled Welsh slate roof. The house has a single-unit plan facing the street.
The exterior features two storeys and a two-window range, topped with a dentilled brick cornice. The entrance, positioned to the left of the centre, includes a doorcase with panelled pilaster strips and a bracketed pediment above a four-fielded-panel door. To the right of the entrance is a canted bay window, which has an entablature above two-over-two sash windows. The first floor features windows with stucco wedge lintels and key blocks above eight-over-eight sash windows set in moulded frames. At the rear, there is a wing with a lower addition and a small window that has margin-light glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
