Description
Ben's Cottage is a late 18th-century house located on High Street in Henley-in-Arden. The building is constructed of brick laid in Flemish bond and features a gabled roof with renewed tiles and a brick stack at the rear. It has a single-unit plan facing the street.
The cottage is two storeys tall, plus an attic, and has a two-window range. There is a plat band over both floors and a top dentilled brick cornice. The entrance, located to the left, has a plank door set in a wide frame, which was formerly covered by a gabled canopy. To the right, there is a rebuilt bay window with a hipped tile roof, featuring 1:3:1-light small-paned casements. On the first floor, there are two windows with renewed 2-light small-paned casements, and a gabled dormer with a similar casement. The interior has not been inspected.
