Description
Farrier House is a house dating from the late 18th century, located on the east side of High Street in Henley-in-Arden. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a gabled roof covered with old tiles, along with a brick stack at the end. It has a single-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range.
The exterior includes a top dentilled brick cornice. The entrance, situated to the right, features a doorcase with fluted pilasters and a bracketed canopy above a six-panel door, of which four panels are glazed. To the left of the entrance is a window with a sill and a rubbed brick cambered arch above an 8/8 sash window. The first floor has similar windows. The left return of the building shows some segmental-headed windows leading to a rear wing, which has been rebuilt; one of these windows includes small-paned glazing with an iron opening casement and some leaded glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
