Description

White Lodge is a late 18th-century house located on the High Street in Henley-in-Arden. It is constructed of painted brick with a gabled old tile roof, featuring a brick cross-axial stack and an end stack. The house has a double-fronted design and an end passage.

The exterior is almost symmetrical, presenting a two-window range over two storeys. A dentilled brick cornice runs along the top of the facade. The main entrance, positioned to the right of the centre, features a doorcase with fluted pilasters supporting a bracketed 20th-century canopy. To the left end, a segmental-headed passage entrance has a tympanum above a wide-boarded door. The ground-floor windows are flanked by sills and have rubbed brick flat arches over their 8/8 sashes; similar windows are present on the first floor, along with small skylights to the roof. The right return side of the building is pebbledashed. The interior of the house was not inspected during the listing process.
