Description

Jasmine Cottage is a house, originally one dwelling but now divided into two, dating to the 17th century with later alterations. It is timber-framed with herringbone brick infill. The ground floor is brick and retains some visible wall studs. The roof has repaired tiles and a central brick axial stack.

The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic. It has a two-window front. There are entrances in the left end and to the right of the centre, each with 20th-century doors. To the right of each entrance is a 20th-century window with a small-paned casement. The attic floor has gablets, each containing a two-light small-paned casement with iron opening stays. A shorter wall to the right end features an entry door. The interior was not inspected.
