Description

Swiss Cottage is a cottage from the late 18th century, said to be dated 1771, with a small mid-20th century addition on the left. It features a rendered and colourwashed exterior with a 20th century tiled roof, along with brick stacks at the right end and on the ridge. The building has a two-unit plan that has been extended to the left and is designed in the Gothick style. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. The porch, likely from the 20th century, includes a mid-20th century part-glazed studded door. The windows are two-light casements with louvred false shutters, and there is a 20th century casement window on the left. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is included for its group value.
