Description
Beech Cottage is a semi-detached cottage dating from the late 18th century, with a right range added in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features an old tiled roof with a brick stack on the left end and a 20th-century stack on the right end. The cottage has a one-unit plan with additions and is gabled towards the road. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance consists of a recessed half-glazed flush six-panelled door with a concrete lintel above. The ground floor includes a three-light casement window with a painted wood lintel, while the first floor has two small two-light casement windows, all with glazing bars. The right part of the cottage features a late 20th-century window and a mid-20th-century flat roof half-dormer. The left return side facing the road has a two-light casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
