Description
The barn and cow house, located to the west of Binton Hill Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of coursed blue lias rubble with some brick and feature tile roofs.
The exterior of the barn includes a brick segmental arch over a plank door, with a larger entrance at the rear that has paired doors and several ventilation slots. There is a brick gable on the left side, and the barn has a gabled roof. The cow house contains two pigsties under a catslide roof, with walls surrounding small yards. One end of the cow house features a wide opening and a weatherboarded gable.
Inside the barn, there are tie beam and collar trusses, along with one renewed truss. This structure is included for its group value with Binton Hill Farmhouse.
