Description
Inglenook Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, with a 20th-century rear wing. It features coursed blue lias rubble on the ground floor and a timber-framed first floor with plaster infill. The roof is covered with old tiles and has brick stacks at the gable ends, forming an L-plan structure.
The cottage has two storeys and a two-window range. The central entrance is blocked. On the ground floor, there is a three-light small-paned casement window with an iron opening casement to the right, and a similar 20th-century two-light casement window to the left. The first floor has two-light small-paned casements, also with iron opening casements. The timber-framing features thin scantlings, and the roof is gabled. The rear of the building includes the 20th-century wing with an entrance. The interior has not been inspected.
