Description
The Orchard is a row of three cottages, originally four, dating from the 17th century with 20th-century additions. The cottages are timber-framed with plaster infill and some rubble on the right end. They feature a steeply pitched old tile roof with brick end stacks, including one truncated stack at the rear and one at the front of the ridge. The overall plan consists of four units.
The exterior is single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. The entrances have 20th-century doors with moulded wood door-frames. The windows are 20th-century casements with leaded glazing, and there are four gabled dormers. To the right return, there is a stone projection, and there are 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed brick extensions at each end. The interior has not been inspected.
