Description

A telephone kiosk, built in 1935-1936. Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, this is a Type K6 kiosk located outside Binton Hill Farm on the south west side of Main Road, Binton. It is constructed of cast iron, and is square in shape with a sail-vaulted roof. The top panels feature relief crowns above glazed panels with the inscription “TELEPHONE”. The windows and door have margin-light glazing.
