Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with possibly an earlier core, and features early 19th-century alterations and additions. The main section is built of coursed blue lias rubble and has a steeply pitched tile roof with a brick end stack. The later section to the right is constructed of brick, with some buff headers on the left half, and has a tile roof that features higher eaves and a shallower pitch, with a brick axial stack at the left end and a rear stack on the right.

The exterior consists of two storeys and a three-plus-three-window range. The main part has an entrance to the right of centre, with two small lights to the left. There are canted bay windows on both the right and left, each topped with hipped tile roofs. On the first floor, there are two three-light casements flanking a segmental-headed two-light casement. The later part features a top dentiled brick cornice, a stone-blocked former entrance at the left end, a segmental-headed window with a five-light casement, a small light, and a canted bay window with a hipped tile roof at the right end. The first floor has a window set into raised eaves and two gabled dormers, all with two-light casements. At the rear, there is a catslide outshut to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
