Description
Woodbine Cottage is a house located in Welford-on-Avon that dates back to the 17th century, with a late 20th-century addition. The building features a timber frame with plaster infill, and part of the right side is fully plastered. It has a steeply pitched half-hipped thatched roof with a brick stack that extends to the front.
The cottage is a single-storey structure with an attic. The ground floor has a three-light 20th-century small-paned casement window, along with a similar two-light casement window in the eyebrow dormer. The timber framing includes thin scantlings, storey-height panels, and a tension brace. The left side has 20th-century single-storey additions, while the right side features a large external stack with a smaller shaft to the left and a small light on the front elevation. A 20th-century porch connects the cottage to a larger late 20th-century addition on the right.
The interior has not been inspected.
