Description

Drayton Manor is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th century with extensive alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed blue lias rubble with brick modifications and has a tiled roof with brick end stacks.

The building has two storeys plus an attic and features a four-window range. The entrance is located to the right of the center within a gabled porch that includes return lights and a plank door. The windows have plastered lintels and consist of 3-light transomed small-paned casements; the ground floor windows are from the 19th century, while those on the first floor are earlier, equipped with iron opening casements. The attic contains two windows with 2-light small-paned casements set in tall gables, and there is a gabled brick dormer to the left of center with a similar casement. The roof is gabled.

To the left, there is a small single-storey wing that features a small-paned casement. The end stacks have diagonal shafts. The rear of the building includes two 19th-century gabled wings and a long single-storey stone service wing, which has one small blocked stone mullioned window. The interior has not been inspected.
