Description
Halmore Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a concrete tile roof and features brick end stacks. The building has an additional slightly lower wing to the right and a lean-to to the left, both made of brick. It is a single long range with two storeys and an attic. The facade has three windows, which are three-light wood casements set under timber lintels. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows alongside a doorcase located just left of centre. The door is a four-panel design, with the lower two panels fielded and the upper two glazed, featuring bolection mouldings. A 19th-century gabled trellis-work porch is positioned over the door. The steeply pitched roof has two gabled dormers, each with three lights. The brick wing to the right is also two storeys high and has two two-light casements on each floor, with segmental arches over the ground floor windows.
