Description
The barn at Pool Farm, dating from the early 17th century, is possibly a former dwelling. It is constructed of brick and features a double Roman tile roof with coped verges and kneelers, along with a columbarium in the north gable end. The building has two storeys and on the west side, there are three 4-light unglazed wood mullion windows positioned below the eaves. The ground floor includes one opening with a wood lintel on the left, flanked by brick arches over a 2-light window in the centre and a wide door to the right. The north gable wall has a door at first floor level, likely intended for a granary, and there is a 20th-century brick lean-to attached. The interior is not accessible.
