Description
This is a barn located approximately 25 meters north-west of Pool Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with crow-step gables. The barn has two levels and includes two tiers of narrow rectangular ventilation slits, as well as an eaves hatch at the center. Inside, the barn has a king-post roof divided into four bays, with raking struts extending from curving tie beams that support the principal rafters. There are full-height brick partitions with lofts over the end bays, and stables situated below the right-hand loft.
