Description

Middleton Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with alterations from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and integral end stacks. Originally a two-storey building, the eaves were raised and a third storey was added in the mid-19th century, creating a 3-window front. The windows are timber, with glazing bars, stone cills, and wedge lintels; the ground floor windows have 16 panes, while those on the top floor are smaller. A central entrance has a half-glazed door and a contemporary pilastered doorcase with a rectangular overlight.
