Description
This is a barn located 50 meters south-west of Church Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The barn is adjacent to a 16th-century aisled barn to the west. On the north side, there are full-height double timber doors on the extreme left, with square honeycomb ventilation panels to the right. The roof is gabled. The south side includes a transept pedestrian entrance and diamond honeycomb ventilation panels. The west gable has a pedestrian doorway accessed by steps, with some tumbling in the gable head and an additional diamond honeycomb ventilation panel. The roof structure consists of tie beams on straight braces that drop to wall posts, with principals, two tiers of butt purlins, and two tiers of collars.
