Description

The barn at Manor Farm is an early 18th-century structure that includes an integral stable. It is built from random coursed rubble stone and features a pantile roof. To the right, there is a continuous lean-to that creates a cat slide roof against a brick stable block, which is not of special interest. On the left side of the barn, there are two windows and a central door, all with timber lintels. The door and the left-hand window lead to the stable, which is separated from the main barn by a brick partition wall. The barn itself has six bays and is supported by queen post trusses. There is also a central double-doored opening on the west side, which is of much lower height and is located in the lean-to on the east side.
