Description

Walnut Villa is a small detached house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a pantile roof and has brick end stacks. The house features a double range and stands two storeys tall. There are three windows on the upper floor, which are 12-pane sashes with painted splayed brick voussoirs and a central stone keystone, all framed with moulded wood. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows and a central doorcase that is accessed by two stone steps. The doorcase has an open pediment supported by consoles, and the door itself is a six-panel design with the top two panels glazed and the rest fielded, but it does not have a fanlight.
