Description

The Laurels is a detached house built in the late 18th century. It features rendered brick on a plinth and has a concrete tile roof with brick end stacks. The building is a single range with a rear outshut and stands two storeys tall. It has three windows on the upper floor, which are 16/12/16-pane sashes set in moulded wood architraves, complete with a stone keystone and voussoirs. On the ground floor, there are two 16-pane sashes alongside a central door that has four fielded panels and two flush panels, all within a moulded surround. The door is topped by a 19th-century gabled porch that includes red and blue margin glass.
