Description
The barn at Manor Farm is a 17th-century structure built from regularly coursed lias stone and topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and consists of four bays. The central stable door features a wooden lintel, and there is a similar entrance to the left, also with a wooden lintel. On the first floor, there is a plank door with a wooden lintel that is accessed by brick and stone steps leading to a half landing. To the left, there are two first-floor windows with wooden lintels, and to the right, there is a single leaded window with a stone surround. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets and kneelers, complete with finials on the left-hand gable. Inside, the barn features collar roof trusses with butt purlins, wind braces, and original rafters. There is also an original timber-framed screen on the first floor and two large timber vats. An 18th-century barn is attached to the left side of the building.
