Description
10 and 11 Lower Harlestone are two houses built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed from lias ashlar and squared coursed lias, topped with a thatched roof. Each house has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, creating a two-window range. Number 10 features casement windows with leaded lights and flat arch heads. Number 11 has three-light stone mullion windows with a moulded dripstone at the ground floor, also with leaded lights. The buildings have ashlar quoins and a moulded stone cornice, along with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. There are brick stacks at each end, and the right-hand gable includes two single light attic windows with stone surrounds.
