Description
The Arches is a house located on Coleshill High Street, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof that is hipped at the angle of the two ranges, with brick ridge stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall, showcasing a dentilled eaves band.
The façade consists of three bays with glazing bar sash windows that have flat brick arches. The central windows are blocked, with the ground floor window featuring a semi-circular head that springs from impost blocks. There are 20th-century six-panel doors on both the left and right sides; the right door leads into the front range, while the left door opens to a passageway along the front of the left return, which includes a three-bay arcade of semi-circular arches. Above these arches, there are three additional glazing bar sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
