Description
The Old Vicarage is a house located on Farndon Marsh Lane, dating from the late 18th century with early 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof, with two gable and one ridge red brick stacks. The left gable is raised and has a coped brick top, while the eaves display a dentil design. The building is set on a plinth and consists of two storeys with seven bays. The third and fourth bays from the right project slightly and are taller, topped with a hipped roof.
The entrance features a doorway with a panelled door and an overlight, flanked by single pilasters that support an open pediment. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows. To the left are two larger glazing bar sashes, and to the right are four larger similar sashes. Above, there are seven glazing bar sashes, all of which, except for the single sashes next to the doorway, have flush painted wedge lintels.
