Description

Cross Lane Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof, featuring two red brick gable stacks. The gables have raised brick copings with kneelers, and a raised brick eaves band. The house is two and a half storeys high, with three bays. Bands run across the first and second floors. The central doorway has a panelled door and a glazing bar overlight. There are single glazing bar sashes on either side of the door, with three similar sashes above and three smaller sashes on the top floor. All openings have flush wedge brick lintels. To the rear of the main house are two-storey wings.
