Description

The Hollies is a house built in the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It features two red brick gable stacks and a moulded cornice. The central three bays of the façade slightly project and are topped with a pediment. The building is two and a half storeys high and has five bays in total.

The central doorway has a panelled door and a fanlight, flanked by single pilasters that support fluted brackets and an open pediment. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows. Further to the left and right are narrow, recessed panels. Above the central windows are three smaller sash windows, and in the outer bays, there are single similar panels. Above these is a small glazing bar casement, and to the right, there are two blind casements with painted glazing bars. The outer bays also contain single small recessed panels. In the pediment, there is a small glazing bar sash. All windows and panels are topped with segmental arches. To the right of the main façade, there is a canted bay that is set back.
