Description

This is a late 18th and early 19th century house situated on Farndon Church Street. The house is constructed of red brick with ashlar detailing and has a pantile roof, featuring two gable and one ridge brick stack, with raised, brick coped gables and kneelers, and dentil eaves. The house is two and a half storeys and has a double depth plan, with a rear wing added in the 19th century. It is set on a plinth with bands marking the first and second floors. The front doorway features a six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by single ashlar pilasters supporting ashlar consoles and an open pediment. A single glazing bar sash window is to the left of the doorway, and two similar sashes are to the right. There are four similar sashes above, and four smaller sashes on the top floor, all set under segmental arches.
