Description
Northbourne is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has square ridge stacks located to the left and right of the centre. The front facade has three bays, with three 16-pane glazing bar sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor has later 19th-century angle bay windows in the outer bays. A central two-panel door is situated beneath a traceried fanlight, which is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. The front also has quadrant curved end bays that connect to the return fronts and two wings that extend at right angles to the rear. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
