Description
Laburnum House is an early 18th-century house located on the west side of Coleshill High Street. It has been refenestrated in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features a hipped plain tile roof with a brick ridge stack. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall, showcasing a first floor band, rusticated quoins of unequal length, and a dentilled eaves cornice. The façade consists of three bays with 16-pane glazing bar sashes that have wedge-shaped plaster lintels and raised keys. The central entrance features an early 19th-century six-panel door set within a moulded wooden doorcase, topped by a rectangular overlight and a bracketed hood with dentils. The left-hand return of the house has three bays of 16-pane glazing bar sashes and a six-panel door positioned to the right of centre. The interior has not been inspected.
