Description

Nos. 88 and 90 High Street is a house that has been divided into two shops, dating from the early to mid 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with a raised verge on the right side and a brick ridge stack. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a moulded eaves cornice. The facade consists of four bays with glazing bar sashes that have gauged brick heads and raised keys. The first-floor window on the left is a wider 19th-century replacement. The attic includes dormers with casement windows and hipped roofs. There are two 20th-century shop fronts and a central passageway that leads to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
