Description

No. 105 High Street is a house that has been converted into a hairdressers. It was built in the early 19th century and features red brick in Flemish bond with a plain-tile roof. The building has three storeys, with the second floor having reduced proportions. It includes a plinth and a band of dentilled eaves. The façade consists of three bays, each with 12-pane glazing bar sashes that have segmental heads grooved to resemble voussoirs. The central entrance is a 20th-century glazed door set within a 19th-century surround of engaged Tuscan columns and a dentilled pediment. The interior has not been inspected.
