Canal milepost. Dated 1820. Cast iron. Approximately 80 cm high, set on circular shaft with convex rectangular display top divided centrally and inscribed to left: "UTTOXETER /17/MILES" and to right: " ETRURIA/11/MILES"; the head is finished by a dome and the base bears a small quatrefoil inscribed: "R & D /STONE/1820".
