This milepost, located 1 mile from Uttoxeter, dates from 1756 and is classified as grade II. It is an early 19th-century structure made of painted cast iron. The milepost features a semi-circular back plate with the inscription "London 140: Liverpool 71," and on the splayed sides, it is marked with "Newcastle 17 miles: Uttoxeter 1 mile."
