Milepost Near Highfields Farm

This is a 19th-century milepost located near Highfields Farm in Uttoxeter Rural. It is made of hollow cast iron and has a triangular shape with a sloping top. The milepost is painted white and features raised black lettering on its surface, with a black painted base. The inscriptions indicate distances: "Left: UTTOXETER 2", "Right: ABBOTS BROMLEY 5 HANDSACRE 11 LICHFIELD 16", and "Top: UTTOXETER".
