Description

This milepost, located at National Grid Reference SK 06493206, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "UTTOXETER". The left-hand face displays the distances "WESTON 7¼ / STAFFORD 12", while the right-hand face indicates "UTTOXETER 2".
