Description

This is a milepost located in Bramshall, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "BRAMSHALL / PARISH". The left side indicates "UTTOXETER 2", while the right side shows the distances to "BRAMSHALL ¼", "MILWICH 6 ¼", and "STONE 11 ¼".
