Description
This is a milepost dating from the mid to late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "FIELD / PARISH". The left-hand face reads "BRAMSHALL 1 ¾ / UTTOXETER 4", while the right-hand face displays "MILWICH 4 ¼ / STONE 9¼".
