Description
Stone House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1719 with mid-19th century additions. It is constructed of chisel dressed ashlar with red brick additions and features a plain tile roof with coped verges on kneelers and a brick ridge stack on the rear wing. The building is roughly L-shaped, with an 18th century range aligned north-west to south-east and a 19th century wing at the rear aligned north-east to south-west. The farmhouse has two storeys, a first floor band, and coved eaves. It has three bays with three-light mullioned windows that have moulded surrounds containing casements. The central entrance features a panelled door with a bracketed hood, a moulded surround, and the date "1719" inscribed on the lintel.
