Description
Sneyyd Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was modified in the early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone with a tiled roof, pitched verge parapets, and end stacks. The building follows an L-shaped plan. The front elevation is two stories and somewhat formal, with a slightly projecting gable on the left side, featuring a nearly symmetrical arrangement of three small casement windows on the first floor, offset to the left, above a matching pair of casement windows at ground level. The entrance has a corbelled moulded hood and a fielded six-panel door. A lower wing extends to the right, featuring two widely-spaced small 16-pane casement windows designed to resemble sash windows. A wing to the left has a lower ridge height, and one bay contains two 20-pane casement windows.
