Description

This is an 18th-century shop and dwelling located on Tower Street, Ludlow. The building is stuccoed with a plain tile roof and stands three stories high, featuring a two-window front. It has late 19th-century two-over-two sash windows within moulded architraves, with smaller sash windows above. The shopfront is from the 19th century, featuring a recessed 20th-century half-glazed door to the left, and a window with heavy moulded glazing bars. To the right is a plank door in a moulded case, sheltered by a simple projecting hood. The right-hand gable has a roughcast finish. A rendered two-story wing extends to the rear, containing an 18th-century lateral stack. The building is included on the list for its group value.
