Description
This building, located to the rear of Number 11 on Tower Street in Ludlow, is a cottage that has been converted into a laundrette. It dates back to the 18th century but has earlier origins. The structure is made of rubble and brick, featuring a steeply pitched plain tile roof with a gable at the rear and a brick stack also at the rear.
The building is single-storey with an attic, and it has a 20th-century door and light in an earlier opening that is under a timber lintel. There are also various blocked openings on the rear, along with a 19th-century light under timber plates in the brick gable. Inside, you can find exposed ceiling beams and a late 17th-century roof that includes a curved wind brace. Please note that Number 11 is not included in this listing.
