Description
No. 14 Tower Street is a shop and dwelling built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a shallow pitched slate roof with a cross axial brick end stack on the right side. The building stands three stories tall with a cellar and has a two-window range. The windows include 6/6 sashes beneath grooved stucco lintels, with 3/3 sashes above them. The eaves have a boarded soffit. The early 20th-century shopfront has a central door with an overlight, flanked by plate glass windows, and to the left, there is a passage to the rear under a wooden panel. The overall design includes a moulded fascia board. The left side of the building features light timber-framing. This property is included for its group value.
